Do you have a student who loves math? The AGAM faculty at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln would like to inform your students entering grades 10-12 of an online summer camp we offer for students who are interested in math. Preference is given to students who have taken geometry but not yet taken calculus.

AGAM is a weeklong camp that provides a challenging yet supportive environment for students to develop their mathematical skills. Camp participants take a course about codes and cryptology, as well as participate in virtual workshops that will inform them about various careers and STEM fields. Students will work with mathematicians from Nebraska and other universities to improve their logic skills, boost confidence in their abilities, and discover the opportunities that strong math skills can provide.

The camp will run from July 11-17, 2021, on Zoom. The registration fee is $350. Applications are now taken online until April 5, 2021: http://www.math.unl.edu/programs/agam.

The Nebraska Department for Mathematics and Center for Science, Mathematics and Computer Education encourage any aspiring mathematicians in your school to apply for AGAM. Please bear in mind that admission to the camp is competitive. Because we value giving each student individual attention, we only accept 30 students to the camp. Applications are due April 5, and applicants will be notified by April 29.
