More than 125 friends, family and educators came to celebrate Jim Lewis’s retirement on Nov. 4, 2023, at the Wick Alumni Center. Among Dr. Jim Lewis’s numerous accomplishments, one he is most proud of is advocating for teachers and the underserved. To honor Jim and all he has done for mathematics teachers and students through his work, a scholarship is being established in his honor through the University of Nebraska Foundation.
