Summer registration for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Nebraska Math and Science Summer Institutes is now open. Visit the course catalog here: https://go.unl.edu/nmssi-course-catalog-2024. The 20% tuition discount for current Nebraska classroom teachers applies to our in-person and web conferencing courses.

Courses will be delivered in three formats: in person, web conferencing (live/synchronous on Zoom), and online (on-demand/asynchronous). If travel or in-person courses are not feasible for you, we encourage you to “learn in place” again and take advantage of web conferencing or online courses.

If you took a class at UNL in the past year and have not graduated, you are eligible now to register through MyRED: https://myred.nebraska.edu. If you are NOT an active graduate student at UNL currently (active meaning you have taken a course in at least one of the past three semesters and have not graduated), you will need to apply to UNL as a graduate student first before you can register. Here is a link to the admission application: https://go.unl.edu/gradapp. If you aren't ready to declare a major, you can apply as a non-degree-seeking, post-baccalaureate student, so search for “post” in the program selection step. Learn more about master's degree opportunities at https://scimath.unl.edu/grad-opps.
