Pride is more than just a month of celebrations and recognition of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a protest and a fight for equality. It’s collaboration and support across other marginalized communities. It’s for the future and safety of students, families, teachers, and schools.
The Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GSLEN), championing LGBTQ+ issues in education since 1990, works to ensure that LGBTQ+ students are able to learn and grow in school environments free from bullying and harrassment. This Pride season, GSLEN is continuing its mission to create safe and inclusive schools for LGBTQ+ youth. Learn more about Pride 2025 from GSLEN.
GSLEN also fosters a supportive educator network for sharing resources and providing up-to-date information on GLSEN research. Those interested in joining the network will also receive current information on LGBTQ events and celebrations to help you plan for and implement a more inclusive curriculum, including direct information and new resources for GLSEN days of action.
