Mark your calendars—the 35th Nebraska Math Day, hosted by the Department of Mathematics, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13! Nebraska high schools are invited to join UNL Mathematics for a day of creative and engaging mathematics. The event will include a Math Bowl and challenges and presentations for students not competing on bowl teams.
Math Day is designed for students in Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 and for exceptional students in lower grades. Teachers who would like to invite students from lower grades to participate must request and receive written permission from Nebraska Math Day. Homeschooled students are also welcome to attend but will need to contact UNL Mathematics at mathday@unl.edu for a registration code.
