It is with much sadness that we announce that NebraskaMATH 2012-2013 Primarily Math Cohort 4 ESU 3 member Rhonda Wiebers died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at the Sanford Foundation Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, SD, following an 11-year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Rhonda taught elementary and special education for the past 28 years, for the Bellevue School District. In addition to teaching, Rhonda served as the District Science Curriculum Consultant, was selected to participate in the prestigious Nebraska Primarily Math Academy in 2012, and was the 2012/2013 recipient of the Bellevue Public Schools "Making A Difference Award".
