Mindy Dhoritey, 48, of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away suddenly at her residence March 25, 2019. Mindy was a member of Math in the Middle from 2014 to 2016. Bryan Middle School in Omaha will have a celebration of life for Mindy on Tuesday, April 9, from 6-8 p.m.
Mindy was a 1988 graduate of Judsonia High School in Arkansas and a 1993 graduate of ASU-Jonesboro. She obtained two master’s degrees in education, including an MAT from Math in the Middle. She taught 7th- and 8th-grade math.
She touched many lives and loved everyone. She had a particular place in her heart for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, which she volunteered and supported. She also loved to scrapbook and travel.
Her funeral was held April 1 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mindy’s memory to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
