Omaha Public Schools teachers Tanya Archie, Jessica Korth, Mary Kate Thraen and Lynn West, who were also participants in our NebraskaMATH programs, attended the Hive 2019 conference in Atlanta, June 17-19, 2019, hosted by Open Up Resources. They went to explore the Open Up Resources’ 6-8 Math Curriculum authored by Illustrative Mathematics. Open Up offers a curriculum that is free and accessible to all students, and Bryan Middle School is one of the schools that will be using the curriculum this school year.
