Students were able to receive advice and networking opportunities from professionals in a wide range of fields. Today’s students need real world experiences and professional contacts to set themselves apart. As our UNL Graduates enter the work force, either as an entrepreneur or as an employee, the knowledge, experience and guidance they receive from this event will make a difference.
The event will be set up with thirty or more roundtables. Each table will have a spot for one mentor as well as six students. In four 25-minute rounds students will have the opportunity to interact with a number of professionals.
The mentorship roundtables will be taking place on Thursday, October 11th at 6:00 pm inside the Champion’s Club directly to the west of the stadium at 707 Stadium Drive. Students who wish to pursue a possible mentorship/internship are encouraged to bring along a copy of their résumé.
