Beginning August 30th, you will not only owe a percentage of tuition for dropped courses, but you will also need to gain written permission for the instructor to add a new course in your schedule. At this point you will be a week behind in the new class and this can be tough, your first semester of college.
Remember you need to have 12 semester hours on your schedule to be considered a full-time student.
Contact an adviser before adding and dropping classes. All adding and dropping can be done on MyRed before August 29th. If you are just making a time change in a course already in your schedule, you do not need to contact an adviser. Simply make the change yourself in MyRed.
