Register by Sept. 27 for Nebraska Research & Innovation Conference

This year's NRIC is a Nanosciences Symposium, Oct. 8-9 at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event includes:

· An afternoon professional development workshop (Oct. 8, 12:30 – 4 p.m.) for undergraduate and graduate students and postdocs on CVs and resumes, interviewing skills, and reflections on academic, private sector, and alternative careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

· A full day (Oct. 9, 9 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.) of presentations by expert leaders and pioneers in nanosciences from around the world, who will present their research with particular emphasis on topics such as nanomaterials preparation, novel nanoelectronics, and biosensing applications.

· An afternoon (Oct. 9, 4:45 – 6:30 p.m.) poster session that showcases state-of-the-art Nanosciences research and engineering in Nebraska, presented by graduate, undergraduate, postdoc and faculty researchers from across the STEM disciplines.

Non-Nanosciences STEM research will also be presented, and interested parties are encouraged to participate.

Undergraduate and Graduate Students, Postdocs and Faculty are encouraged to display a poster, regardless of STEM area.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
