The mentorship Roundtables event is designed to connect college students and recent alumni with entrepreneurs and business professionals.

Last year approximately 250 students from over 15 majors attended this event. Students were able to receive advice and networking opportunities from professionals in a wide range of fields. Today’s students need real world experiences and professional contacts to set themselves apart.

As UNL graduates enter the work force, either as an entrepreneur or as an employee, the knowledge, experience and guidance they receive from this event will make a difference.

The event will be set up with thirty or more roundtables. Each table will have a spot for one mentor as well as six students. In four 25-minute rounds students will have the opportunity to interact with a number of professionals.

The mentorship roundtables will take place on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6:00 p.m. inside the Champion’s Club, directly to the west of the stadium at 707 Stadium Drive. Students who wish to pursue a possible mentorship/internship are encouraged to bring along a copy of their résumé.
