Help scouts with STEM activities, April 19 or 20

Girl Scouts of Nebraska seeks engineering students to help with STEM activities: April 19 in Firth (rockets) and April 20 in Nebraska City (solar cars).

Don't Knock It - Rocket Launching
This program is for girls in grades K-5 and could expect between 15-60 girls. This program is happening on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 8:30 am-4:30 pm in Firth, NE at the Community Center. This is a school’s day out for the kids. Girls will spend the day doing STEM related activities, with a concentration on rocket launching. Supplies are provided.

Vroom Zoom Solar Cars
This program is for girls in grades K-12 and could expect between 15-30 girls. This program is happening on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 9 am-12 pm in Nebraska City at Arbor Bank. Girls will spend the time doing STEM related activities, with a concentration on building and racing solar powered cars. Supplies are provided.
