Leadership is becoming more prominent in Nebraska Engineering curricula. This new course, ENGR 200 – Professionalism and Global Perspective, is part of this approach and will enhance your value to employers.

ENGR 200 is ACE certified and fulfills ACE 6 – Psychology, or ACE 9 – Diversity & Global Awareness. ENGR 200 will be offered in Lincoln and Omaha.

No prerequisite is needed to register for ENGR 200. The course is a prerequisite for ENGR 320 – Leadership, Management & Ethics (ACE 6 or ACE 8).

In ENGR 200, you will earn the skills employers are actively seeking: teamwork, professional communication, critical thinking and working in a global economy.

In this team-based course you will explore, develop and practice these skills, preparing you to deliver on expectations in the intern, academic and professional work environment.

Course content includes:
•communicating your ideas for buy-in;
•systematically addressing ambiguous problems;
•exploring and developing emotional intelligence;
•understanding how your drivers may differ from others;
