The Blueprint, the magazine published twice a year by and for College of Engineering students, is seeking editors, writers and other staff for the fall 2014 and spring 2015 issues. This opportunity is open to all engineering students.
The publication is a great opportunity to show off your communication skills to employers. The magazine includes stories about the college, students, professors and issues facing the field of engineering. Non-majors are welcome as well, but engineering students studying in Lincoln andOmaha are highly encouraged to join the editorial staff.
The time commitment is typically writing one or two stories a semester if a staff member; editors are in charge of the content, layout/design, etc., working with the adviser, so more time is needed. The magazine has both a print and online edition.
