Time to make plans for Spring Semester

Engineering Student Services reminds students to get started on planning for the Spring Semester. Make appointments with your advisor (via MyPlan) in October and begin choosing your Spring 2015 courses.

Getting informed about international education on Wednesdays

Allison Hinesley will be outside of the Library (W204 Nebraska Hall) every Wednesday this semester from 11 a.m.-noon to answer questions about opportunities to study abroad and the processes involved. It’s never too early to start this conversation, and this is a great way to get more information.

 

Get your pizza slices on Thursday

Pizza slices for sale on Thursdays(LNK) Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is selling pizza slices every Thursday in Nebraska Hall, near the stairs on the west side of the building. Members of EWB will sell the pizza and drinks beginning at 10:30 a.m. until they are gone.

 

Important dates coming up

Engineering Student Services reminds students of important dates occurring this month:

Friday, October 17 is the last day for students to change a course registration to or from "Pass/No Pass."

Monday-Tuesday, October 20-21 is Fall Semester Break for students, but UNL offices will be open.

 

SWE meeting set for Wednesday

(OMA) The Society of Women Engineers will meet on Wednesday, October 8 at 5:30 p.m. in PKI 108. On the agenda will be a discussion of the group's Halloween event. Snacks will be provided.

 

Omaha offers Study Stops three times weekly

Engineering Study Stops held three times weekly(OMA) Engineering Study Stops will be held three times a week in PKI. Students can work in groups, get help with their math, chemistry and physics courses and meet with peer turors. Study stop times are Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Sundays 6-9 p.m.
