Want to be an engineering innovator? Space is available in MECH 498/898 (Sect. 6), which meets Tuesdays at 8 a.m. in Othmer 105. In this course, titled Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship, you'll learn from Prof. Shane Farritor, who has developed two start-up companies.

[LNK] UNL's Fall 2011 Career Fair has an engineering focus on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Lincoln's City Campus Union. Get your resume ready and meet with hundreds of prospective employers about jobs and internship opportunities.
College of Engineering students at The Peter Kiewit Institute in Omaha are invited to celebrate the new school year. On Monday, Aug. 22, enjoy a Welcome Cafe, 9-10:30 a.m.; on Tuesday, Aug. 23, it's Student Resource Day, with lunch at 11:30 a.m.; and Wednesday, Aug. 24 offers a cookout at 11:30 a.m.
