Fall Career Fairs offer head-start on careers

It’s never too early to get started in preparing for your career, and you can begin that journey at two upcoming career fairs.

The UNL Fall Career Fair-Engineering, Technology & Science will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday, October 1 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

More than 100 employers will be present to talk about internships, coops and job possibilities.

Free parking is available at Pinnacle Bank Arena and free shuttles will be running from the Nebraska Union to the arena.

Students from all majors are welcome to attend.

The Durham School Career Fair, at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha, will offer many opportunities over three days (October 5-7).

You can learn about internships when current students talk about their experiences from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 5. Students can then network with potential employers at the employer/student welcome reception from 5:30-7 p.m.

On Tuesday, October 6, Lincoln students can ride a shuttle to Omaha to attend the Career Fair, and on-campus interviews will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday October 7.
