Durham fall Career Fair offers head-start on careers

It’s never too early to get started in preparing for your career, and you can begin that journey at The Durham School Career Fair, which runs Monday through Wednesday.

The event, held at the Peter Kiewit Institute and at the Scott Conference Center, will offer many opportunities for students to prepare for working in the professional world.

You can learn about internships when current students talk about their experiences from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Monday at the Scott Center. Students can then network with potential employers at the employer/student welcome reception from 5:30-7 p.m.

On Tuesday, October 6, Lincoln students can ride a shuttle to Omaha to attend the Career Fair at the Scott Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or take part in the faculty-led tour of PKI from 8:45-9:45 a.m.

Some companies will be interviewing students from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the Scott Center.
