If you are interested in paid opportunities to do research and creative activities, UNL’s Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience (UCARE) is accepting applications online for Summer 2016 and the 2016-17 academic year.
UCARE provides opportunities for undergraduates to work with faculty and engage in research and creative activities at UNL. The program is open to full-time undergraduate students who have completed at least 30 credit hours by May 2016. Eligible students can apply for a UCARE undergraduate research assistantship for summer 2016 and/or the 2016-17 academic year.
Summer 2016 applications will be accepted online through January 26. Academic year 2016-17 applications will be accepted online from February 9 to April 5.
Application workshops will be held this week – Tuesday, January 12 at 4 p.m. in the City Campus Union and Wednesday, January 13 at 3 p.m. in the East Campus Union. The final application workshop will be March 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the City Campus Union.
These informational workshops will show you how to:
* Identify and select a faculty adviser
* Develop a UCARE research abstract; and
* Assemble and submit a UCARE application.
