Save the Date: Register to attend the Senior Design Showcase
Registration is ending soon for students to attend the Senior Design Showcase, scheduled for Friday, April 22 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
All guests attending the event can browse the new and innovative projects from Nebraska Engineering’s graduating students, select their favorite project in the People’s Choice Award voting, and tour the Nebraska Engineering complex, Memorial Stadium and the Nebraska Athletic Performance Lab (NAPL).
Eric Lueshen, a 2007 UNL chemical engineering graduate and a former Husker place-kicker, was likely the first openly gay Division I college football player. Lueshen will share his story in a presentation Thursday, April 7 at 3:30 p.m. in Othmer 106. Continue reading…
The deadline to submit entries for the annual E-Lympics has been extended to Tuesday. E-Lympics, sponsored by the Engineering Student Advisory Board (eSAB), will be April 10 and features five-person teams vying for prizes by competing in volleyball, design and Jeopardy. Continue reading…

The Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (Latinos in STEM) student organization is selling Nebraska Engineering clothing and apparel through April 15. Orders will be available for pickup on April 27 in PKI 100 (Omaha) and on April 29 in Nebraska Hall W204, the engineering library (Lincoln).
