With commencement ceremonies set for both the Lincoln and Omaha campuses the first weekend in May, students are asked to sign up by Friday, April 22, for the Senior Recognition Reception. The reception is May 6 at 1 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.
The reception will be held at 1 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Ballroom. The form at http://engineering.unl.edu/senior-recognition-reception-rsvp/ asks students for the number of guests who will be attending, including themselves, to allow for the college to provide plenty of refreshments for all guests.
Lincoln students planning to attend the May 7 commencement ceremony at Pinnacle Bank Arena are encouraged to complete the Commencement Attendance form in the To-Do list on their MyRed page. A confirmation email will be sent to those who have completed the form. That email will include important information for the ceremony, including time at which students should arrive and available parking
Students can still order a cap and gown from the University Bookstore in the Nebraska Union or at the Alumni Association’s GradFest, which will be held April 19-20 at the Wick Alumni Center.

The Omaha commencement events will include the Engineering Convocation and Reception on Friday, May 6 at 9 a.m. in Baxter Arena. Parking at the Peter Kiewit Institute and shuttles from PKI to the arena are free. An all-college reception will be held following the ceremony, beginning around noon in the PKI Atrium and PKI 158.
