Ohio State University's Marras speaks Sept. 23 at UNL

B1Gweb.jpgNAE member Bill Marras, who directs OSU's Biodynamics Laboratory, will speak Friday, Sept. 23 at 3 p.m. in Jorgensen 110. He researches ergonomics and applies quantitative engineering techniques in low back pain causes and treatment techniques. His new book is The Working Back: A Systems View.

 

Renewable Energy Systems Seminar, Sept. 28

wind turbineBill Fehrman, CEO of MidAmerican Energy, will give a seminar on his company's Renewable Energy Systems: Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 3 p.m. in SEC 237. MidAmerican owns and operates many of Iowa’s wind farms. Fehrman is hosted by UNL's Electrical Engineering Department.
