Tour Scott Technology Center at open house

(OMA) Please join the College of Engineering for an open house to tour Scott Technology Center and see how the college is using this new facility to enhance our teaching, learning and research initiatives. The open house will run from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Free food and raffle prizes will be provided.

(LNK) Student registration is $25 for the Nov. 7-8 “Opportunity that Scales: Women Advancing the Future of Information Technology in Higher Education” conference on Nebraska Innovation Campus. N.E.S.C.O. plans holiday fun at Creepy Carnival

Creepy Carnival set for October 27 from 6-10 p.m. in PKI 158(OMA) All students are invited to partake in the free food, games and fun at N.E.S.C.O.’s Creepy Carnival on Thursday, October 27 from 6-10 p.m. in PKI 158. Prizes will be awarded for various contests and a real-life CLUE game, and a drone will be raffled. Free pizza and Halloween candy provided.

 

Sign up now for human-robot study

(LNK) Students, ages 19 and older, are needed to participate in a study that will evaluate robot technology. The study, conducted in the UNL NIMBUS Lab in the Schorr Center for Computer Science and Engineering, will take about 90 minutes and information about participants will remain confidential.
