Free shuttle service between Lincoln and Omaha resumes today; will not run Jan. 16

N-E Ride, which transports Nebraska Engineering students between the City and Scott campuses, will resume its usual schedule today and will run each weekday that classes are in session through the end of the semester. It will not run on Monday, Jan. 16 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The college is now using a 21-passenger minibus on weekdays that classes are in session for all routes and times, allowing more riders per time.

Engineering students and employees can ride the minibus leaving from Othmer Hall (Lincoln City Campus) and from Scott Campus (PKI-Omaha) every two hours on weekdays. The first shuttle departs each location at 8 a.m.; the last shuttle departs at 6 p.m.

No registration is required for this service and free Wi-Fi is provided.
