Nebraska Engineering students are invited to Office Hours with Dean Lance C. Pérez on Wednesday, March 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in 106 Othmer (Lincoln) or March 30, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in 102 STC (Omaha). Talk with the Dean and learn what’s new in the college. No reservations are necessary.

Pie your professor Tuesday on Pi Day

Pi Day is Tuesday, March 14 (3.14.17)Want a chance to pie your professor in the face? Come to the Othmer Hall lobby on Pi Day -- Tuesday, March 14 (3.14.17) -- from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and purchase slices for $2. Free pop will be provided. The event is sponsored by Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Tau Beta Pi and Phi Sigma Pi.

Stan Feuerberg, president and chief executive officer for Northern Virginia Electric CooperativeElectrical Engineering alumnus Stan Feuerberg, president and CEO for the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative will present a special seminar, “Careers & Opportunities in the Power & Utility Industries,” for students on Tuesday, March 14 from 3-4 p.m. in W213 Nebraska Hall.

 

NeSPE and LEC offering scholarships

The Nebraska Society of Professional Engineers and the Lincoln Engineer's Club are offering scholarships to current UNL engineering students who are members of the student chapter of NeSPE.
