Senior design teams and students wishing to attend are encouraged to register for the Senior Design Showcase, which will be held April 21 at Memorial Stadium.
The event will showcase senior design projects from this academic year.
The Senior Design Showcase – set for 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Memorial Stadium, East Stadium Club Level – is a great opportunity for students currently enrolled in their senior design course to:
* Enhance presentation skills and network with alumni and industry representatives;
* Promote research to future Nebraska Engineering students and their parents;
* Gain broad recognition for your hard work through awards voted on by judges and event guests.
Student design teams that register now cannot be guaranteed inclusion in the program handed out to guests. If your entry is accepted, your group will be provided a 6-foot table with a linen tablecloth and access to wireless internet. Water and light snacks will be provided to all team members during the showcase.
Overlooking Nebraska's iconic football field, the Senior Design Showcase will be held on City Campus in Memorial Stadium's East Stadium Club Level. Showcase guests will have the opportunity to:
*Browse the new and innovative projects from graduating Nebraska Engineering students;
*Vote on their favorite project in the People's Choice Award;
*Tour the Nebraska Engineering complex, Memorial Stadium, and the Nebraska Athletic Performance Lab (NAPL).
Feature stories, student projects, and more information will be posted online (link below) leading up to the event.
