There is still time for graduating seniors to sign up for the Order of the Engineer.
The initiation ceremony will begin at 3:45 p.m., Friday at Memorial Stadium, after the Senior Design Showcase. Cost is $20.
Online registration (link below) ends today, but registration will be accepted at the showcase.
Scott Campus students: if you want to join the Order of the Engineer this spring and are not able or planning to attend the Senior Design Showcase, contact Carl Nelson or Karen Coen-Brown below.
The Order of the Engineer is for graduating seniors and graduate students from an ABET-accredited engineering program. Construction management students are not eligible to join.
The Order of the Engineer is an association of engineers dedicated to the teaching, administration, or practice of their profession. To be initiated, you adhere to a professional creed and accept a stainless steel ring to be worn on the working hand. The obligation is voluntary and for life.
