The Golden Calculator hunt will take place on both the City and Scott campuses. Follow UNL Engineering Student Advisory Board (eSAB) and NESCO – Nebraska Engineering Student Council of Omaha (NESCO) on Facebook for daily clues. Solve the puzzle, find the golden calculator and win the prize.
TODAY’S EVENTS
*9-11 a.m.: Pancake Man (PKI Atrium) – Sponsored by The Durham School of Architectural Engineering and Construction. Come and enjoy free pancakes, sausage and orange juice.
*11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Career Development Lunch (PKI 158) – Sponsored by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Hear from a panel of engineers on how to prepare for the real world of engineering and have a free lunch from Mama’s Pizza.
*1-4 p.m.: Tour of Holland Performing Arts Center (Check in at PKI Atrium, 1-1:30 p.m.) – Hosted by University of Nebraska Acoustical Society of America (ASA). Provided transportation departs at 1:30 p.m. and returns to PKI at approximately 4 p.m.
*6-8 p.m.: Game Show Night (PKI 158) –Hosted by Freshman Engineering Student Council at Omaha (FrESCO). Participate in versions of TV game shows based on “Jeopardy!”, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, “Family Feud”, and “Minute To Win It.” Enjoy the submitted “America’s Funniest Home Video”, and meme created by Nebraska Engineering students. Prizes available for game shows and video/meme submissions. Free pizza and Raising Cane’s chicken.
