The Al and Dorothy Schewe Leadership Award is given annually to recognize achievement in leadership within the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering.
Undergraduate students of any class year with a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA who enrolled full-time in the College of Engineering on any of the College of Engineering campuses (City campus, East campus, or Scott campus) are eligible to apply.
Two applicants will be selected to receive one of two $1,000 awards. Rather than a scholarship, this award is granted as a one-time check.
Student leaders are strongly encouraged to apply for this competitive award. Winners will be presented with a certificate at the Senior Recognition Reception on City Campus on May 4, regardless of class year or graduation status.
Applicants will be evaluated based on leadership, involvement and educational projects and achievement.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018. The online application includes your resume and a two-page personal statement.
