E-Week speaker Carson to share strategies for mainstreaming sustainability

Jamie Carson, CEO and founder of Carson+Co Global, will kick off E-Week 2019 on Scott campus by speaking on "Mainstreaming Sustainability: How to Connect Dots and Create Impact," on Monday, Feb. 18 at 12:30 p.m. in PKI 158.

Carson founded Carson+Co Global in Washington, DC, in 2011. The business headquarters were relocated to Lincoln in 2015.

Carson leads CCG’s vision, strategy, leadership team, and business operations and development. CCG is a federally certified Woman Owned Small Business and a social enterprise business with a mission to “advance impact in the environmental sector." Carson implements this vision into business operations, client work, and company initiatives.

She manages work with the City of Lincoln in its implementation of the Lincoln Environmental Action Plan and serves as key personnel for Knowledge Management (KM) for Abt Associates for the U.S. Agency for International Development's Climate Integration Support Facility (CISF).

CCG founded the environmental community engagement organization, Envirorun, in 2012 and now manages the national nonprofit with chapters in Washington, DC, Lincoln and Eugene, Oregon.
