The Al and Dorothy Schewe Leadership Award is given annually to recognize achievement in leadership within the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering.
Undergraduate students of any class year with a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA who enrolled full-time in the College of Engineering on any of the college’s campuses are eligible to apply. Two applicants will be selected to receive awards of $1,000. Rather than as a scholarship, this award is granted as a one-time check.
Student leaders, regardless of class year or graduation status, are strongly encouraged to apply for this competitive award. Winners will be presented with a certificate at the Senior Recognition Reception on City Campus on May 3. Recipients do not need to be present to accept the award.
