Join us for this conference in honor of the grand opening of the new American Indian Student Center at South Dakota State University. This is a virtual conference held April 15-16.
Students, faculty and staff from multiple locations will share presentations that address the several questions:
• What structures need to be in place for Indigenous students to succeed in K-12 and higher education?
• How can Indigenous cultural production become more central in higher learning?
• How can Indigenous knowledge production inform each corner of K-12 and higher education?
The opening session, the American Indian Student research panel, will illuminate what is possible in American Indian education.
