Photo & Audiovisual Collections Cataloging Assistant ($13.50/hr)
The Nebraska State Historical Society is hiring a student worker to help index the AV portion of the KMTV collection. There are about 4 years, or 60 binders, worth of entries that need to be added to an existing spreadsheet. This project will greatly aid researchers looking for stories from that time period, and will help to better serve Nebraskans. The footage is also utilized by news stations frequently. Museum Collections Assistant ($13.50-$15/hr)
The Nebraska State Historical Society is hiring a student worker to assist in the Museum Collections Department at the Nebraska History Museum (131 Centennial Mall North). Student will assist with collections inventory and updating electronic catalog records. Must be able to lift 30 pounds and climb ladders. Good attention to detail and data entry experience desired. Hours must be completed on a set schedule between 9:00 AM and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Workstudy students only.

UNL’s Bureau of Sociological Research is hiring data workers. Data workers help with a variety of tasks related to research data collection. This includes entering survey responses digitally, assisting with mail processing, and transcription of audio files. This is a part-time position with flexible hours between 8:30am and 5pm Monday through Friday. All data workers are expected to work a minimum of 24 hours every two weeks (or 12 hours per week) as work is available. Our workload ebbs and flows, so we cannot guarantee continuous work.
