Summer 2026 Intern / Bureau of Sociological Research($15/hr)
BOSR offers paid, summer internships. Gain real experience with human subjects research, surveys, and other data collection. Preference to students with statistics, social sciences, and methods experience/courses, but not required. JGMC Front Desk Staff ($15/hr)
The Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center (JGMC) is referred to as a home away from for many students. Front Desk Staff are typically the first people to interact with students and guests of the JGMC. They are a great resource for our students and strive to create a welcoming environment. Desk Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Welcoming and assisting visitors and guests.
• Answering and transferring calls.
• Receiving/processing mail and/or packages.
• Monitoring the building and spaces for cleanliness.

Summer Collections Intern / American Historical Society of Germans from Russia ($2500)
This temporary, part-time internship will focus on the inventory of our Museum Objects Collection in the AHSGR Collection. Under the supervision of the Archivist, the Collections Intern will focus on creating an inventory, photographing, and researching museum objects currently on display in our outbuildings. Key responsibilities include creating and/or updating collection records in our Collections Management System, PastPerfect, establishing the donation status of objects in our collection, and working with the AHSGR Collections Committee to evaluate objects. UESS Social Media & Communications Intern ($15/hr)
Undergraduate Education and Student Success, within UNL’s Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor, is looking for a creative, detail-oriented student to assist with social media and communications in our department. This position provides a hands-on opportunity to work on various communications projects and initiatives, giving the intern a wide variety of experiences. Key projects include creating social media content, writing newsletters and articles, tracking social media + communications analytics, and assisting with event marketing (Husker Student POWER Week, First Generation Week, etc.). Applicants should possess strong communication, writing, organization, collaboration, and social media platform skills. Programming, event planning, or tabling experience a plus. The UESS Social Media & Communications Intern must be available to work 15-20 hours per week within the office hours of Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. This is an in-person position for Summer 2026 and the 2026-27 academic year. Student Worker, Gender & Sexuality Center ($15/hr)
The Student Workers help to staff the Gender and Sexuality Center and are responsible for helping volunteers and center visitors; programming tasks and staffing; supporting programs and inventory related to the Lavender Closet; Library checkouts; referrals to visitors for resources on campus and in the community; filling safer sex kit, menstrual product, and pregnancy test orders; monitoring inventory of resources; and other task related duties as assigned. University of Nebraska Press Internships (unpaid, class credit)
The University of Nebraska Press is accepting applications for acquisitions interns for Fall 2026. The internship will offer students hands-on experience through day-to-day tasks in the business of academic publishing, wherein editors select, review, contract, and prepare manuscripts for publication. Internship responsibilities may include:

Learning Consultant/Tutor ($15/hr)
The Center for Academic Success and Transition (CAST) seeks qualified students to work as Learning Consultants for our Study Stop program beginning in the Fall 2026. Study Stop is a free tutoring program for students to meet in-person with a Learning Consultant for extra support with coursework. A Learning Consultant provides one-on-one or small group academic support for undergraduate students. The goal is to help students better understand course material and relevant study skills to improve their academic performance. Learning Consultants assist students in various subjects, including Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Math, English, Engineering, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish, and Statistics. Visitor Experience Associate, Sheldon Museum of Art ($15/hr)
Seeking student applicants who are enthusiastic with a passion and knowledge of art to serve as Visitor Experience Associate for Sheldon Museum of Art. The Visitor Experience Associate is responsible for providing a welcoming and safe environment for visitors to the museum. Individuals will share their enthusiasm and knowledge of art with visitors, provide coverage of the front desk, monitor museum galleries and assist visitors needs during public hours. They will collect and record visitor survey information and feedback. In addition, they will help security personnel to maintain the security of guests, the collection and building. WW Norton & Company Publishing Internships ($17/hr, some remote)
W. W. Norton & Company’s 12-week internship program is designed to introduce motivated college students and recent graduates to publishing and to Norton. Internships provide valuable hands-on experience with the day-to-day business of bookmaking, as well as opportunities to network with employees at the company and with fellow interns who frequently go on to become colleagues in the field. Interns at W. W. Norton are paid $17 per hour, subject to applicable law, and work a maximum of 20 hours weekly. Runner – Mattson Ricketts Law Firm ($15/hr)
Our runners support the inner workings of our law office and see first hand how a firm operates. This is a part-time position which duties include: delivering documents, running errands, answering the phones, greeting clients, storing files, shredding documents, purchasing office supplies, stocking the kitchen, making copies, scanning documents and hauling boxes. This position takes direction from all members of the law firm but primarily reports to the receptionist and the hiring manager.
