Add the new Advertising and Public Relations minor to your degree path.

Build communication-related skills through a minor designed to emphasize media, strategy, planning, and implementation in creative problem-solving. Minoring in advertising and public relations means being part of the next generation to take over the media landscape, whether retail and corporate advertising and marketing, media sales, brand management, media planning, account management, research, public relations, media relations, special event planning, mobile and digital communications, creative concepting, sports media relations, digital insights and analytics, copywriting, or layout and design. After completing a series of 100- and 200-level courses, students select any two 300-400 level elective courses from ADPR or JOMC. The advertising and public relations minor is only open to students outside of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
