By going through the emergency action plan (EAP) process, these counties identified shelter-in-place locations, outlined evacuation procedures, created office maps, and compiled staff contact lists. In 2019, 30 offices completed an EAP, while this year so far, 32 offices/units have completed an EAP. In the new Engagement Zone model, Zone 9 and Zone 10 have achieved 100% participation in EAP development in 2020.
All counties and Extension units are encouraged to complete a local plan, and EAPs (both new and revised) are accepted on a continuous basis. The office emergency action plan template available here: https://unl.box.com/s/eeogezqwvkmebavxhn7gz46t4errxp8v.
Completed plans can be submitted through this Qualtrics link for review: https://go.unl.edu/countyofficeeap
