Thanks to all of the Nebraska Extension offices and units who have submitted their Emergency Action Plans (EAP). As a reminder, this year’s EAP submission process is by zones and units.
We are nearing the end of the first submission window focused on Zones 1, 4, 8, and 10 (February 1 - March 31). If you have already submitted an EAP, we will be reviewing those soon and following up with you.
The EAP is a living document and can be reviewed, updated, and submitted at any time. This is especially important if there have been changes in circumstances or an identified need in your office(s)/unit (new employee, retirement, change of location and more).
Current submission window:
• February 1 – March 31: Zones 1, 4, 8, and 10
*Upcoming submission windows:
• May 1 – June 30: Zones 5, 7, 9, and 11 and Raising Nebraska
• September 1 – October 31: Zones 2, 3, and 6
*We will be reaching out to lead educators/unit leaders prior to the opening of each submission window with information on submitting your office/unit EAP. The EAP template and submission link has not changed from 2020.
