Travel directions: Due to road conditions in the area, we encourage everyone to use Hwy 12 from the west (the bridge between Lyn and Niobrara is out). Preferred route: Hwy 20 to Newport, turn north onto Hwy 137. Hwy 137 turns back to the east and becomes Hwy 12. It is approximately 120 miles from O'Neill to Lynch. There are some county roads/bridges open but authorities encourage only local traffic and 4-wheel drive vehicles required, so avoid these roads.
