Resources are available to help promote preparedness in our communities during National Preparedness Month - September 2019. Fire Prevention Week - October 6-12
This year, let’s focus on the small actions everyone can take to keep themselves and their families safer from fire.
Teach your community about the importance of having working smoke alarms in their home. And, just as important, they need to have a family escape plan and practice it.
You know how quickly little fires can grow into big fires. Make sure to let your community know, they may have as little as two minutes to escape from their home after they hear the smoke alarm.
