NASA DEVELOP Webinars this Week

The NASA DEVELOP National Program addresses environmental and public policy issues through interdisciplinary research projects that apply the lens of NASA Earth observations to community concerns around the globe. Teams of DEVELOP participants partner with decision makers to conduct 10-week, rapid feasibility projects that highlight relevant applications of NASA Earth observing missions, cultivate advanced skills, and increase understanding and use of NASA Earth science data and technology.

DEVELOP, through Science Systems and Applications Inc. (SSAI), employs Participants during 3, 10-week long terms throughout the year to address these challenges through organized partner projects. There are 11 locations an applicant can apply to, depending on what location the applicant would like to be considered for. Each location has specific projects Participants work on as a team during the 10-week term. Participants are classified as part-time temporary employees and work an average of 20-29 hours per week.
