GeoTenerife's 7th annual summer training programme, GeoIntern, is open for applications from undergraduates and recent graduates.
This summer training programme is run in association with INVOLCAN, the Canary Island Volcanology Institute.
For 2020 we are running 11 programmes on four of the Canary Islands, and offering two scholarships for talented young scientists.
Depending on the programme, participants will learn highly transferable laboratory and field skills for:
- Geothermal exploration (soil geochemistry)
- Volcano monitoring (geochemistry and hydrogeochemistry)
- Seismology
- Environmental monitoring
- Science communication
