Learn how to apply for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) on April 16
April 16, 2021 | 12 - 1 PM, via Zoom
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) helps ensure the vitality of the human resource base of science and engineering in the U.S. and reinforces its diversity. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based masters and doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions.
Fellows share in the prestige and opportunities that become available when they are selected. Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend of $34,000 along with a $12,000 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees (paid to the institution), opportunities for international research and professional development, and the freedom to conduct their own research at any accredited U.S. institution of graduate education they choose.
On Friday, April 16, 2021, from noon to 1:00 pm, Dr. Gisele Muller-Parker, a former NSF Program Officer, will lead a Zoom workshop for those interested in applying to this program. Junior and senior undergraduate students, first-year graduate students, and faculty interested in mentoring these students are encouraged to attend.
Please register to attend the virtual workshop. Learn more details on the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program.
