EAS Learning Award Program
This Learning Award is designed to give EAS undergraduate students an opportunity to pursue external contacts in the science field that will help them gain practical knowledge of that field prior to graduation. The intent is to give the student a jump-start on their career in a chosen field within the EAS curriculum. The activity begins with mentoring and encourages the possibility of student internships, externships, research experiences, or field work. The number of awards made each semester will depend on available funding and the number of mentors participating. Successful applicants will receive a $500 award for one semester, with the possibility of renewal.
