Summer Fieldwork Opportunity with Dr. Secord

Dr. Secord is seeking one or two undergraduate students to assist with fieldwork this summer. This work is part of an NSF project and the assistants will be paid $104/day. Dr. Secord and students will be working in the Wind River and Bighorn basins of Wyoming, collecting paleosol carbonates and sediments samples for stable isotope work, and also collecting mammal fossils.

There is potential for this project to lead into student research. This project will involve work with graduate students and faculty from other universities. The field party will leave Lincoln on June 23rd and return July 13th, although there is a little wiggle room on the dates.

Contact Dr. Secord at rsecord2@unl.edu if you are interested.
