The College of Business Career Center is seeking energetic, student-focused undergraduate and graduate students to assist in coaching undergraduate business students in the Professional Enhancement Program for the 2021-2022 school year as part of an innovative peer career coaching program.
At the Business Career Center, we develop confident, professional, and connected business students for lifelong career success. We accomplish this by providing dynamic career coaching, curriculum, and programming to meet the demands of an ever-changing workforce.
Qualifications:
-Have an interest in coaching college students
-Demonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication with diverse populations and personality types
-Be able to work independently, take initiative and solve problems
-Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a team of professionals
-Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
-Be a current undergraduate or graduate UNL student in good academic standing
-If a business student, successfully completed BSAD 222
-Preference given to a student who has successfully completed BSAD 222 & 333
-Availability to work up to 10-12 hours a week on-campus during normal business hours in the 2021-2022 academic year, with flexible scheduling options
