What does the Business Career Center do besides help you with your interview and getting a job post grad?

Major/career exploration
- Whether you are choosing a major or exploring careers, our career coaches can assist you. We work with you to identify interests, skills, values and strengths to make informed career decisions.

Part time job/internship
- Get advice from our career coaches on how to land an internship or part time job.

Connect with employers
- Success comes from engaging early and often with employers in the College of Business. From visiting with Employers in Residence to arranging informational interviews, connect with employers year round and market yourself for success.

Employer in Residence
- Employer in Residence showcases employers who recruit Nebraska Business students and provides engagement opportunities for students, faculty and staff such as information booths, presentations, resume reviews and more. Stop and chat with the Employer in Residence at their information booth to learn more about what they do and what positions they have available. (Fall/Spring Semesters)

BigInterview / Practice Interviews
- Our coaches offer practice interview sessions tailored to the position you want. In addition to in-person assistance, you can also get help through video and phone sessions and utilize 24-hour interview prep through BigInterview. Use Big Interview to learn and practice your
interview skills, whether you’re interviewing for
a job or graduate school.

Husker Connect
- Husker Connect provides a platform for Nebraska Business students, alumni and professionals to actively connect. Huskers guiding Huskers on campus, in careers and through life.

Career Closet
- Operated by the Alpha Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, the Career Closet provides clean, gently used free professional dress items for UNL students to allow them to put their best foot forward at career fairs and job interviews. During summer contact Business Career Center to make an appointment to visit the closet.

Graduate/professional school
- The Business Career Center helps you identify your interests, skills, values and strengths to make informed decisions. From searching for opportunities to helping you prepare for interviews and applications, the center can help you plan for graduate or professional school.

Job search strategy
- Learn how to leverage your strengths in the job search strategy. Meet with a career coach to discuss strategies for selecting our career path.

Resume/cover letter
- Work with our career coaches to get advice on your resume and cover letter. Learn how to tailor your application materials to your dream job.
