Save the date for three Spring 2020 grant writing seminars

Writing Winning Grant Proposals, scheduled for March 13, is the annual seminar open to UNL faculty and postdocs who look for funding sources from the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, or similar smaller funding agencies and foundations. Registration for this workshop will open the first week in February.

Graduate Studies is offering Grant Proposal Writing: Getting Started, scheduled for the afternoon of March 12. This is the workshop for graduate students. Information for this workshop will be available after the first of the year.

The Art of Successful Grantsmanship: What You Need to Know Before You Write a Proposal in the Arts and Humanities is scheduled for the morning of February 7. This workshop will train faculty and administrators in proven best practices for producing successful grant applications, with a specific focus on the arts and humanities. Prior grant writing experience is not required, but the outline of an idea for funding in the form of a short abstract will enhance participation and maximize benefit from the session. Registration for this workshop will open the first week in January.

These grant writing workshops are sponsored by the Office of Research and Economic Development and the Office of Graduate Studies.
