The Office of Graduate Studies is seeking nominations for service on the UNL Graduate Council beginning August 2020. The Graduate Council serves as the administrative body for the Office of Graduate Studies and as an advisory body to the Dean for Graduation Studies.
Each spring, two members of the graduate faculty are elected to the Graduate Council to serve four-year terms of office. We are currently seeking nominations in the following areas:
- Agricultural Sciences and Biological Sciences: includes the School of Biological Sciences, Nutrition and Health Sciences, and all departments of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources
- Social Sciences: includes Anthropology, Child, Youth and Family Studies, Community and Regional Planning, Geography, History, Law, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design
