This fall will look a little different. If you're wondering how you'll contact our office or access Graduate Studies resources, this article will help you answer those questions.

As the new year begins, you may notice some differences on campus and how you can contact various offices. Many offices that have been closed may be open, but some may still have limited hours or staff who are still working remotely. Knowing where to go and how to get things accomplished is critical to being a successful graduate student. While Graduate Studies’ office will be open, many staff may be working remotely or have limited hours on campus so you should expect some changes in how you interact with our office. Our office will be open for you to drop off or pick up materials or schedule an appointment, but drop-in appointments will not be happening.

Regardless of what office you visit, you should plan to bring and wear a face mask. If you visit a faculty or staff member’s office, you will be expected to wear a mask as social distancing would be impossible. That faculty or staff member is also expected to wear a mask. If you refuse to wear a mask that staff member may refuse to meet with you in person.

In our blog, there are answers the following questions you may be having about how processes have changed.

  • How do I file the necessary degree documents?
  • How do I get grades changed?
  • How do I submit an enrollment request?
  • How do I meet with someone to discuss job documents?
  • How do you know what events are happening?
  • How do I get help on my teaching?
